Their guarantee of "24/7 Free Customer Support" is a tad deceptive, since there's no phone number or live chat available on their website. I'm also having to put this out here because their support is very lackluster - it's effectively email-only. I'd like to know if anyone else has had better luck with this program, especially in the last few months? And if you were able to solve the same issue, do let me know how you were able to do so? The messages don't disappear forever, thankfully enough - I can get them back by signing back onto the original WhatsApp app on Android - but they don't get picked up by the modified APK, rendering the program useless for my purposes. However, for me, it fails to give me the prompt for restoring messages on the modified version of the app - a "Restore backup" screen shows up for half a second before disappearing, rendering me with a blank chatlist and no way to move my messages to the iPhone. With that said, I'd like to ask if anyone's been able to successfully transfer their WhatsApp chats from Android to iPhone, at least with AnyTrans? Because I haven't.īoth the "transfer from Android to iPhone" and "restore Google Drive backup to iPhone" functions require installing a modified WhatsApp APK on the Android phone - which supposedly allows the program to copy over messages to the iPhone. The AnyTrans page literally has a fake Apple logo with "Certificed Developer" written on it, but I decided to bite the bullet anyway and see if this program works. I know there's huge privacy risks with handing over payment information and all of your private chats to some $25 app from an unknown developer. This isn't supposed to be a recommendation of the software. Please don't start recommending me those for this reason. AnyTrans allows me to transfer stuff through Wi-Fi instead of a physical USB connection. My Android phone specifically cannot connect through USB, which is why I chose AnyTrans over other similar transfer apps (WonderShare MobileTrans/Wutsapper, Tensorshare iCareFone).I know that Meta/WhatsApp/Zuck announced the native ability to transfer chats from Android to iPhone, and that they're slowly rolling out / are still actively developing the feature in beta.
